Introduction

Are you hearing that your diesel particulate filter is too plugged to clean?

What do you get from Lynx that is different from any other DPF cleaning? Let’s look at some different options.

Inspecting your DPF

Pin test, air tests and light tests determine the level of contamination and whether it needs cleaning, and the results go on your cleaning report. This report is yours to keep whether your filter passes or fails.

And at Lynx Emissions, you only pay for passed filters!

"These are the go to for any emission related parts.  We at Livingood Equipment only use the crew at Lynx to clean our filters.  Bar none, the best in the business and very prompt and professional."

Blast and Bake

Gets your DPF 66% clean, and we guarantee it for three months.

The traditional "blast and bake" step. This involves using high-pressure air and heat to dislodge and burn off the loose soot and ash that has accumulated on the filter. Many DPF “cleans” stop here, and while this may get your vehicle going again, your DPF still has soot in it, and will need more downtime again in a few months.

Blast and bake is a good start to the cleaning process, and can be a good option if you are looking for a lower unit cost and just need to get back up and running today.

Blast and Bake + Solution Flush

Gets your DPF 85% clean and is guaranteed for six months.

After the "blast and bake," your DPF is flushed in a specialized cleaning solution. The solution is designed to break down and remove stubborn, trapped particulate matter. This allows you to clean odd-shaped filters such as selective catalytic reduction (SCR) filters and diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) filters.

Blast and Bake + Solution Flush + Ultrasonic

Your DPF is 98% clean and guaranteed for one year.

Ultrasonic vibrations create tiny cavitation bubbles in a cleaning solution, dislodging even the most stubborn particles. This step provides a deeper and more complete cleaning, when combined with a solution flush and blast and bake. By itself, it leaves a lot of gunk in your DPF.

Rinse and Dry

Your diesel particulate filter is removed from the cleaning solution and rinsed thoroughly, ensuring all the cleaning solution is removed.

Your diesel particulate filter dries completely before being delivered back to you.

Regular cleaning or restoration of your diesel particulate filter give you better mileage and a more reliable fleet when you do it right the first time – at Lynx Emissions your filter is completely restored with extensive testing, reporting, blast and bake, solution flush, ultrasonic cleaning, and a thoroughly rinsed and dry filter.
